This is how we do it
SPARK's code of conduct
Spark is dedicated to providing a fun, comfortable and supportive training atmosphere. We care about the physical & mental well-being and safety of our students, teachers, performers and community members.
We believe in collaboration instead of competition.
We believe that creatively challenging environments do not necessarily come with boundary-pushing and abusive behaviors.
We believe there is no space on or off stage for physical violence and intimidation, discrimination and prejudice based on gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, socio-economic background and physical abilities.
We also believe most people generally mean well and are willing to learn, grow and change.
We recognize our own biases and shortcomings, and we are eager to improve and make SPARK an ever-better environment.
We reserve the right to exclude any student or performer for behaviors that we feel contradict our principles.
and finally: Don’t be an asshole.
Unless it’s in a scene and you’re playing an actual butt hole and then that's quite funny. But don't be an asshole.
