Our courses are taught in English. If English isn't your first language, fear not: it isn't ours either! We encourage folks with different levels of English to join our classes, and we teach an improv that doesn't rely only on verbal wit and language skills. You can say a lot with your body, your emotions and your unique voice.

Nope! Once you're in, you're in. Want to try it out? Join a taster class!

We do not offer the possibility to pay each class separately, and ask our students to enroll for the whole course.

Unless stated otherwise, our venues are wheelchair-accessible. We strive to provide an experience that is inclusive and accessible for all, by providing exercises or variations that accommodate for different levels of mobility. If you'd like to discuss your specific case and needed accommodations, please indicate it in the registration form, or reach out to us at contact@sparkrotterdam.nl. Accessibility also means financially. If you're having trouble coming up with the full payment, do reach out to us, as we offer specific payment plans for low income folks. There are also opportunities to train for a discount or for free if you offer to volunteer for SPARK.

We will run this course with a minimum of 8 students. Below that number, we may choose to cancel the class. If we do so, you are entitled to a full refund.

Our regular price covers for the trainers, the location costs, space and supports the daily running of all things spark, all done by a team of 3 people in our spark HQ! Courses are the main source of income for SPARK, and the profits are reinvested in all the other (less economically viable, but equally sexy) activities, from shows to jams, events & more.

Many of our students have told us they would be eager to pay more for their classes, so we thought we'd try it out. By choosing this price (which amounts to 5€ extra/class), you support SPARK in its future development & dreams: higher production budgets for shows, more community-driven activities and, in the near future, a brand new dedicated space. It is also a solidarity pricing, allowing us to sponsor workshop spots for low-income folks and maintain our solidarity price on show tickets. Thank you for the love 💓

We have at heart to make our courses accessible and affordable, so we offer payment plans upon request and punctually practice trade-off in exchange for services.Write to us at contact@sparkrotterdam.nl to tell us your story, so we can work it out together.

Sadly, this is not possible. Our trainers work hard on creating a safe container for the group to feel playful, vulnerable and open. We do not allow students to move from one group to the other throughout the term, so as not to destabilize the group's delicate chemical balance ;)
