nICE TO MEET YOu 👋🏽
SPARK is a school & community for creativity, improvisation and spontaneous arts. We teach classes, produce shows, host community events, run interdisciplinary workshops with local and international artists and often embark on creative sidequests.
One day we're born,
One DAY we die,
in the middle we improvise.
We foster connection, interaction & presence through play. Improvisation is at the core of what we do at SPARK. We produce unscripted theater shows and interactive experiences, created with the audience of that night and never to be seen again. We are also an adult playground, helping individuals and organization reconnect with spontaneity and creativity.
Joy is radical. We are going through a collective crisis of numbness, where humans live in disconnection from themselves & others. The presence and openness required to improvise together can radically improve how we live, how we relate and how we make art: in a state of aliveness.

Behind the scenes, SPARK is ran by 3 creatives, Eddie, Emma & Salomé who operate as a three-headed symbiotic organism.

🧔🏻♀️ Eddie is a writer, film-maker, voice actor & all-round tech wizard.
👱🏼♀️ Emma is a graphic & print designer and cultural worker.
👩🏻🦱 Salomé is an urbanist, storyteller & creative advisor.

WE ARE wizards 🪄
SPARK was created by Harry Sidiropoulos & Salomé Attias as a small passion project in September 2022. It has since grown into a gang of organizers, trainers, volunteers, students and curious minds.
We are supported by a wide and diverse community of 200+ humans: students jumping into the unkown, improvisers attending our events, volunteers helping us run our shows, trainers teaching our weekly classes and creative partners who we regularly make mischief with.
Just like improvisation, SPARK is a collective adventure.
