🎲 WHAT IS THE CRASH COURSE? Does the "RP" in tabletop RPG make you want to retreat into the darkest caverns of the Underdark? 🐉 Maybe you're the type of nerd who gets emotionally invested in Critical Role or watching Brennan Lee Mulligan "torturing" his friends in Dimension 20, yearns to experience the carefree 80's. cigarettes-are-harmless-vibe of Stranger things or dreams of reliving a time before you started worrying about taxes and increasing shareholder value... back when you first experienced D&D. But even though you've got your crew, your dice and your snacks, things don't play out as you'd like: awkward silences, lack of direction—less "epic adventures" and more like "forced corporate networking event" vibes. Fear not, young adventurer! You're merely missing the magical tools of improv. In this crash course, you will be endowed with the techniques to heighten your characters, twist and bend your story, make your adventures epic and your roleplaying experiences unforgettable. 📖 THIS COURSE'S FORMAT: We will master longform improv techniques adapted for better TTRPG roleplaying experiences: character creation, scene work, and "Yes And..." techniques, all practiced through actual gameplay ⚔️. ❓ Should you take the CRASH COURSE? ✅ YES, if... → You have a bit of experience in either tabletop roleplaying games or improv (or both). How much experience is not important. → You want to level up your storytelling. → You want to focus on roleplaying techniques rather than game mechanics—these skills apply to every TTRPG. → You're ready to embrace the chaos and make your adventures unforgettable 🎓 YOUR TRAINER Harry Sidiropoulos is an engineer by trade and by way of life. He started making stuff with batteries, motors, Lego, and playdough with often messy or explosive results. At some point he realized he could make stuff up on stage with other people with far less chance of electrocution! Improv became his safe space to explore authenticity, accept his disability, and rediscover playfulness. Notes: • Dungeon & Dragons, aka D&D, is the most famous tabletop roleplaying game, but it's one of many such games. These types of games are called ttrpg's (tabletop role-playing games). • This course is mainly about roleplaying and not game mechanics, and it can be applied to every tabletop roleplaying game.
