Saturday, 10:00-16:00 : Once Upon a Mime 🗺️
This workshop focuses on a side-skill of performance: miming and object & space work. Honing a full awareness of your environment, of the objects around - their size, touch & weight, is an helpful tool to make your stories feel more true to you, your partners and the audience. In this workshop we will train our bodies to play in these imaginary environments and to turn them more visible to us and the audience. This workshop finds its inspiration in Jacques Lecoq's work, Clowning & Commedia dell'arte.
Sunday, 10:00-14:00 : Playing with Silence 🤫
As improvisers we fear the silence, so we tend to fill it with words, so many that they lose sense…
