🌱 BASICS Our BASICS course focuses on the core principles of improv and creates a playful and judgment-free environment for you to try, play, laugh, fail & learn. This is your first step into the magical art of pretend. Explore the outer edges of your comfort zone, alongside a group of adventurous & playful minds. Together, we will discover and practice the core principles and skills of improvisation. You will quickly feel more playful, more confident and, hopefully, in love with improv. 📆 SCHEDULE This course takes place on Wednesday nights, 19:30-21:30. It runs from Wednesday 23 September 2026 to Wednesday 9 December 2026, with a showcase on the last class. ‼️ The first class will take place in a different location, which will be communicated via e-mail ahead of time. ‼️ On 20 October, the class will take place in another location (herftvakantie). 💸 PRICE 350€ regular price. 380€ supporter price. 310€ solidarity price for low-income folks. YOUR TRAINER 🌶️ Nathania Velasquez (she/her) has been active in the theatre world for over 10 years now. She started as an actor and slowly evolved to a creative producer and director. She has been involved in many projects such as the Caribbean tv-series "Big 'N Mac", the first live improv show on the island of Bonaire and in several teaching projects. Currently working as a independent theatre maker, creative producer and performing on the Boom Chicago stage on the weekends. She is inspired by the human experience and relationships.

Cancellation Policy
* Payment: Students are required to pay the full course fee. If a student decides to drop out of the course at any point, they will still be responsible for paying the full fee. This also applies to students with specific payment plans and sponsorship. * Refunds: If SPARK cancels a course for any reason, a full refund will be issued to students. If one class is cancelled, we will make sure to reschedule it. We will run this course with a minimum of 8 students. If the minimum number of participants isn't reached, we will postpone or cancel the class and refund it entirely. * Attendance: Students are expected to attend all classes unless they have an emergency or prior engagement. Students may be asked to repeat the course if they miss more than three classes. * Individual responsibility: SPARK is not responsible for any decision made by a student to drop out of a course. Students are responsible for their own learning and progress throughout the course. * Conduct & Safety: We strive to hold welcoming, inclusive & intentional spaces. Our classes & events are run according to our code of conduct. We expect our students, participants and audience to respect this code and SPARK's core values and act with kindness and genuine consideration towards one another.
